Job summary

The Red Hat Quality Engineering team is seeking an Associate Quality Engineer to join our Red Hat Storage Automation test team. In this role, you will develop the automated tests for a functional area of a product within our extensive portfolio of leading-edge storage technologies. To do this, you'll need to understand the product's architecture and how it integrates with other products. As an Associate Quality Engineer, you'll act as an individual contributor of the team and interact with other team members and developers. This role is a great opportunity to make contributions and improvements to Red Hat's quality engineering processes and infrastructure while participating in upstream testing efforts in the open source community.

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in IT or computer science
• Experience in programming languages like Python, Perl, Java, and C
• Domain expertise with storage-related technologies including block level storage and file systems is a plus
• Experience with continuous integration and automation frameworks is highly preferred
• Understanding of test-driven development or Agile methodologies is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
